The first step is to choose a piece of unfinished pottery. We have a huge selection of over 500 items to choose from.

Design and Paint

Here at Making Memories Ceramics we have tons of painted samples to help get your ideas flowing as well as pattern sheets with easy step by step instruction for you to follow so you don't have to come up with a masterpiece from scratch, unless you want to of course.

You have unlimited use of our vast selection of colors and specialty glazes. This includes the typical gloss or speckled finishes as well as some “magic” glazes that give your work of art an surprising finish once fired.

We also give you unlimited use of our painting and design supplies to give your work that personalized detail that will truly make it one of a kind!

So relax and take your time - we think that you'll find painting pottery to be an activity that is therapy for the soul!

Feel free to bring snacks and beverages (BYOB for 21+) and get creative! We do sell bottled water, soda, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and some candy for your convenience. Here you have the freedom to be as messy as your creative process requires; we'll do all the clean up.

Finish and Fire

Once you are finished, leave your ceramics with us, we will put a gloss dip glaze finish on them, and fire them in our kiln.  Items will be food safe and outdoor safe! Your pottery will be ready for pick up within 1-2 weeks.  We also offer complimentary express firing if you really need your finished piece in as few as 3 days.
